Frans Bosch is a world-class sprints and jumps coach who now works as a performance consultant and in academia with an emphasis in anatomy and motor learning. While his accomplishments are well recognized, one of his greatest contributions to the field is the book, Running, Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology Applied in Practice that he co-authored with Ronald Klomp. This is arguably the most comprehensive books ever written on the systems around the development of elite speed.
The seminar will provide theory and practical experience across the range of topics covered. This course is appropriate for anyone interested in running development and how to optimize learning through the application of motor behaviour theories.
Seminar Topics Include:
- Start technique
- Acceleration technique
- Absolute speed
- Specific-strength development
- Motor control theory
- Motor learning theory
